Mike's Meadow Muffins           April 7th, 2008

I feel kind of bad that Linda and I failed to celebrate " Earth Hour" last Saturday. We must have just gone to bed early and missed it. Yesterday I fired up the chainsaw and whacked down a couple dead trees, winter has outlasted my woodpile again.

Earth Hour?

We have designated time slots,
for things we do
and games we play.
It confuses me
that some things get a week,
and some things get a day.
There are special days to celebrate,
for everything from Mothers, to gay power...
but the big mud ball,
that supports us all,
only gets an hour?
