Missing Meadow Muffin

I don't believe in making excuses,
that just ain't the cowboy way,
so I apologize to all my readers,
who missed their muffin day.

Between Lewiston and Kamloops,
I had two big shows back to back,
and somewhere in the middle,
I kind of just lost track!

Meanwhile; the Min-pin had her puppies,
I picked up a new Border Collie too,
so with a house full of new babies,
ain't no-one sleeping through.

Missing that Muffin deadline,
makes me feel like such a Jerk,
I don't know what say except
...
the dog ate my home work!
