Crazy

Folks from far and wide are gathering,
to our corner of the West,
in time for the twelfth edition,
of the Kamloops Cowboy Fest.

A reporter asked me yesterday,
"Just what is it all about?
What makes Cowboy poets tick?
What's behind the rhymes they spout?"

To tell the truth, I'm often puzzled,
by questions such as those,
so I replied as best I could,
"... Just crazy, I suppose."
